Translation of “Some Transformational Extensions of Montague Grammar”

蒙太格语法中有17条基本规则用来描述语言的基本构成,Partee对这些基本规则进行的扩充,极大地增加了蒙太格语法系统所包罗的语言现象,对蒙太格系统的充实和完善具有十分重要的意义。本文通过对Partee的《蒙太格语法的一些转换扩展》一文的译介和对蒙太格语法的新进发展的介绍,对蒙太格语法的基本内容、Partee的6条扩展规则和自然语言实例进行了阐述。

There are seventeen basic rules in Montague Grammar（MG）which are used to describe the main construction of language. Partee’s extension of the above rules greatly increased the lan-guage phenomena included in the system of MG and had an important significance in enriching and perfecting Montague system. This article describes the basic contents of MG,Partee’s six extensional rules and natural language examples through translating Partee’s article---“Some Transformational Extensions of Montague Grammar”and explaining the newly development of MG. 2.
