摘要
本研究采用访谈和问卷调查的方法,通过对我国华东六省一市16所高校的英语需求分析进行调查,探究了英语专业和大学英语教学中需求分析的实施情况。调查结果表明,大部分高校外语需求分析做得不够全面和深入,开展需求分析方法单一,过程性需求分析缺乏。本研究认为,外语教师应加强对外语需求分析理论的学习,高度重视需求分析理论和外语教学理论的实际应用,各高校需进一步完善外语教学的工作机制。
This research, by way of interviews and questionnaires, investigates how needs analysis is carried out in teaching English majors and non-English majors in sixteen universities in six provinces and one metropolis of the East China. It is discovered that language needs analysis is not implemented effectively or comprehensively. The way in which needs analysis is done is too simple and progressive or on-going needs analysis is lacking. Therefore, it' s suggested that theories of needs analysis should be explored and the practical application of theories of needs a- nalysis should be given priority to in the working system of foreign language teaching in colleges and universities.
