The development of tourism needs constant optimization of industrial structure and innovation to adapt to the market changes and meet the requirements of the sustainable development of tourism. The cultural tourism new formats become the necessity. This paper expounds the foundation and the current situation of the cultural tourism development, the typical type and the related problems in the cultivation and development of the cultural tourism new formats in Jiuquan-Jiayuguan area.
