禽流感是禽流行性感冒的简称,是由甲型流感病毒的A亚型(也称禽流感病毒)引起的一种传染性疾病,被国际兽疫局定为甲类传染病,又称真性鸡瘟或欧洲鸡瘟。近年来,禽流感的大范围流行给我国养禽业造成了巨大的经济损失,并严重威胁着人类健康,因此禽流感的研究越来越被人们重视。文章综述了禽流感的传播与病原特点、诊断方法及防治措施,从而为预防和控制禽流感的爆发和流行提供简单、有效的技术和方法。

Bird flu is short form for avian influenza,it is an communicable disease that caused by a subtype of influenza virus, and is categorized as a Class A communicable disease by Office International Des Epizooties （ OIE）, also known as true fowl plague or European fowl plague. In re- cent years, a wide - ranging epidemic of avian influenza causes a huge economic loss to poultry industry in China, and also poses a serious threat to human health. Thus, the research of avian influenza is being paid more and more attention by people. This paper summarizes the epidemic and contagion, diagnostic methods, prevention and cure of avian influenza, providing simple and effective techniques and methods to prevent and control the outbreaks and epidemic of avian influenza.
