市场需求、内生沉没成本与农产品加工业市场结构——基于大中型企业研发投入数据的实证分析

Market Demand,Endogenous Sunk Costs and Market Structure of Agricultural Product Processing Industry——Based on empirical analysis of R&D input data of large and medium enterprises

以农产品加工业为研究对象,利用2003—2010年农产品加工业11个子行业大中型企业研发投入数据,通过建立理论模型并运用动态GMM估计方法实证分析了在考虑内生沉没成本情况下,市场需求扩张对市场结构的影响。研究结论表明:如果不考虑内生沉没成本,市场需求扩张会导致农产品加工业集中度下降;在考虑内生沉没成本的情况下,市场需求扩张将使行业内企业展开内生沉没成本投入竞争,增加了外来企业的进入成本,同时有可能导致行业内企业退出,从而导致在市场需求扩张情形下农产品加工业行业集中度提高。

The agricultural product processing industry is taken as the research object, based on R＆D input data of eleven large and medium enterprises of agricultural product processing industry during 2003--2010, and the influence of market demand expansion on market structure is analyzed with considering the endogenous sunk costs by the establishment of theoretical model and using dynamic GMM estimation method. The results show that if we do not consider endogenous sunk costs, the expand of market demand can cause the decline of industry concentration in agricultural product processing ; whereas if we consider endogenous sunk costs, enterprises will compete on endogenous sunk costs, increase the enter cost, and at the same time lead the exit of enterprises in the industry, the concentration of agricultural product processing industry will increase under this circumstances.
