摘要
直方图均衡是常用的图像对比度增强技术.然而直方图并不包含任何空间颜色的分布信息,因此其在图像编辑方面的应用还很局限.为了解决这个问题,可以采用空间直方图技术以实现跟踪的目的.空间直方图是将直方图与每一种颜色的位置的均值和方差联合起来的图像描述方法.提出了一种新的空间直方图变换方法以实现图像的局部还原,更确切地说是采用一个参考空间直方图来修正所处理的图像中感兴趣区域的颜色值.基于图像的阴影去除和修复的仿真结果表明了该方法的有效性.
Histogram equalization is a well-known method for image contrast enhancement. Nevertheless, as histograms do not include any information on the spatial repartition of colors, their application to local image editing problems remains limited. To cope with this lack of spatial information,spatiograms have been recently proposed for tracking purposes. Spatiogram is an image descriptor that combines a histogram with the mean and the variance of the position of each color. This paper addressed the problem of local retouching of images by proposing a variational method for spatiogram transfer. More precisely,a reference spatiogram was used to modify the color value of a given region of interest of the processed image. Experiments on shadow removal and inpainting demonstrate the strength of the proposed approach.
