International settlement documents are very essential in modern international trade. As a special language variety of international business English, international settlement English has its own unique style. By analyzing the texts from the documents used in international payments, this paper elaborates the stylistic features of English in settlement documents from the aspects of vocabulary, sentence pattern and discourse, in the hope that business people can effectively understand the information in settlement documents and succeed in international payment transactions.
