Postmodernism style appeared in late 20th century plays a great role in affecting the development of world literature. Among the representative writers ofpostmodernism, Gertrude Stein＇s works are unique, owing to which are resisted by the secular. She borrowed relevant modem psychology principles and modem painting style in her writing to present character＇s instant consciousness characteristics. With the postmodemism presentation and ＂continuing present tense＂ art style, she applied a lot of repetition and combined it into her writing. This paper explores Stein＇s literature language writing style to provide a new train of thought to relevant study.
