北周僧渊造像碑研究

On the Sengyuan Stone Statue Tablet of Northern Zhou Dynasty

僧渊造像碑,为北周高僧僧渊所造,早年发现于陕州宝轮寺,是河南仅存的几件北周造像之一,且有确切纪年,是研究北周佛教的发展和建德法难的重要实物资料。本文对其雕刻内容、造像题材以及艺术风格进行考察和研究。

Sengyuan stone statue tablet was made by eminent monk Sengyuan of the Northern Zhou period, which was found in Baolun temple Shan Zhou, and has the exact year on it. It was one of the extant stone statue tablets of the Northern Zhou period in Henan area, and was the important materials to research the development of Buddhism of the Northern Zhou period and Jiande Buddhism calamity. This article researches and observes the content of sculpture, statue subject and the artistic style on this stone statue tablet.
