Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in treating Bile Reflux Gastritis. Method To select 114 patients who were diagnosed with Bile Reflux Gastritis by gastroscope in the people's hospital of Shangrao county from Feb. 2011 to Feb. 2014. A course of treatment was 8 weeks for both groups, after which patients would be reex- amined by gastroscope. Therapeutic effect and endoscopic results of the two groups would be compared. Results The valid cases for observation group were 56 with total effective rate of 96.6%, while the valid cases for control group were 45 with total effective rate of 80.4%; their differences were statistically significant(P〈0.05). 30 cases tested Hp positive before treatment in observation group and only 14 positive cases after treatment with the eradication rate of 53.33%; 28 cases tested Hp positive before treatment in control group and 20 positive cases after treatment with the eradication rate of 28.57%. The curative effect of observation group was obviously Better than that of control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion The combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in treating Bile Reflux Gastritis can alleviate the symptom fast and reduce recurrence rate.
