Road to Canonized Translated Literature——Yang Yi's Translation of Wuthering Heights in China

翻译文学的经典化在基于其原作的价值的基础上受到译作、读者、译语国文化语境等多方面因素的相互作用和影响,需要对作品及其历史背景进行考查。文章拟分析杨苡译《呼啸山庄》与原作和译语国读者的对话与互动,并运用多元系统论描述其在权力因素操纵下的经典化历程,指出该译本本身的艺术魅力和张力是其永葆经典风彩的根本动力,对其进行研究,对于翻译文学经典建构的复杂性的梳理具有借鉴意义。

T he translated literature＇s road to canonization is based on its artistic value ,and at the same time ,it is influenced by many factors such as the translated text ,the reader ,the culture of the target language and so on .This paper analyzes the interaction of Yang Yi＇s translation of Wuthering Heights with the original text and readers from the target language ,and then describes some influences on its canonized road from the perspective of polysystem theory .It is concluded that the artistic value and the tension of the translation are the basic power which makes it an eternal canon .This research can provide reference for analyzing the complexity in the translated literature＇s road to canonization .
