殖民地文学交往中“台湾想象”的生成意义——以《华丽岛的冒险》为例

The Generative Meaning of “Taiwan Residents Imagination”in the Colonial Literary Exchange——with Examples from Adventures on Pretty Island

日据时代台湾文学界与日本本岛文坛在文学交往过程中充满了"张赫宙情结",即以在日本文坛成名的殖民地朝鲜作家张赫宙为榜样,竭力以平等之姿与日本文坛发生对话、获得认同;针对此文学现象,如果以日本作家以日据台湾为书写题材的文学选集《华丽岛的冒险》来作个案分析,通过对比日本本土文坛在不同世代对殖民地台湾文学生态的差异化想象,则可以发现这些"台湾想象"虽然是在日台之间的文学交往中产生的,但同时也揭示出日台二地文坛交往中在文学相互理解上的深刻不对等关系。动态的文学交往程式,使得"台湾想象"不只是形式化的客观现实,而负载了串联不同区域之间文学经验的使命,因此是区域研究中可资利用的、新的文学资源。

During the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, the process of exchange between the world of letters in Taiwan and that in Japan was full of what was known as “the Chang Hyakchu Complex”, with Chang Hyakchu, a writer from the colony of Korea who had become famous in Japan as an example, in an effort to win recognition by trying to achieve dialogue on equal terms with the world of letters in Japan. In relation to this, if one makes a case study of Adventures on Pretty Island, a collection of literary writings by Japanese writers, based on Taiwan as a subject matter during the Japanese occupation, through a comparison of differentiated imaginations of literary ecology in colonial Taiwan in various ages by the native world of letters in Japan, one may find that even though these “Taiwan hnagination” were created in the literary exchange between Japan and Taiwan, they reveal an in-depth unequal relationship in the mutual literary understanding in the exchange between the worlds of letters in both Japan and Taiwan. A pattern of dynamic literary exchange is not only “Taiwan Imagination” but it also carries the mission of interconnecting literary experiences between different regions, a new source of literature that can be used in regional studies.
