In Mrs. Dalloway,a masterpiece of the British Modernist writer,Virginia Woolf made use of the psychological space and heterotopias as the background for identity crises and value conflicts, implying the confrontation between the verge and the centre and revealing the constraints and oppressions of the conventional social system and authority on the marginalized population.
