The seismic appraisal and strengthening design of a middle school building in Baotou city

摘要 "5·12"汶川地震后,中小学建筑的抗震设防类别由标准设防提高为重点设防,造成很多中小学建筑不能满足现有的抗震要求.本文以内蒙古自治区包头市某中学教学楼为例,运用抗震能力指数的方法,定量评估了房屋加固前,钢筋网水泥砂浆加固后,板墙加固后的抗震能力. After "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake, the fortification of buildings in primary and secondary schools are increased from standard to focus category, and many of the existing primary and secondary school buildings cannot meet the existing requirements for seismic fortification. Taking a Baotou secondary school building as a case, the seismic capacity index method was used to evaluate quantitatively the building's seismic capacity when it was unreinforced , strengthened by steel mesh mortar, and strengthened by the splint walls .
