The construction of the railway of East Longhai promotes the formation and development of the regional economy in Xuzhou and Lianyungang. It plays an important role in promoting economic development along the railway.Donghai Railway Station is the first important station from the east on the Railway of Longhai. After the railway opened to traffic,the County town of Donghai has rapidly developed into the center of local politics,economy and civilization from a wild one in former days.
