The ways of thinking determines the forms of language expression . The unique form of language embodies the differences of thinking modes. As a very important language phenomenon, ellipsis can best prove the mutual influence between the two. From the cogni-tive perspective, the generating process of ellipsis is regarded as schema reaction process of the human brain, which reflects the cognitive process of thinking.
