Making Learning Open and Flexible: Emerging Modes and Approaches——A Review of the First International conference on Open and Flexible Education(ICOFE2014)

2014年1月16-17日,在香港公开大学召开了首届开放及灵活教育国际会议,探讨如何通过最新的科技和创新的教学法以迎合不同群体的学习需要,实现更灵活和个人化的教育模式。论文介绍了会议概况,阐述了主题报告、学术工作坊、分主题报告的主要内容。这次会议参会人数多、分布范围广、学术交流充分。随着移动技术的发展和移动终端的广泛普及,未来的教育必将体现开放和灵活的特点,开放和灵活的理念将会是未来学习和教育发展的重要理念。

On January 16-17,2014,the Inaugural International Conference on Open and Flexible Education was held in the Open University of Hong Kong. It discusses how to use the latest technology and innovated teaching method to meet the learning needs of different groups,to achieve more flexible and personalized education mode. This paper introduces the overviews of the conference,and expounds the main contents of the theme reports,academic workshops,sub-theme reports. The conference has the features of large attendance,wide distribution and full academic exchanges. With the development of mobile technology and the widespread popularity of the mobile terminal,the future of education is bound to reflect the characteristics of the open and flexible; the open and flexible concept will be an important concept of the future learning and education development.
