This thesis mainly analyzes relative issues about teaching methods of English listening and speaking, especially for the arts and sports major university students. According to related educational theories and combined with teaching practice, the author discusses how to organize the teaching for the arts and sports major students whose English level are comparatively low-er, and gain better teaching effect through choosing proper teach-ing content, organizing diverse and effective instructional mode and teaching steps.
