20世纪80年代,翟永明在诗歌中采用独白叙述方式,真实暴露女性的内心世界,但是这种独白叙述带有很强的个人性和精神性。90年代,翟永明诗歌走向平淡的言说方式,采用戏剧手法来考量生活,在生活戏剧化中体会生命沉重,力图突出生活本质。

In the 1980s, Zhai Yongming uses monologue narrative in the poetry to expose women＇s inner world. However, this monologue accounts with very strong personal and spiritual feature. In the 1990s, Zhai Yongming＇s poetry goes to plain way of expression, using a theatrical technique to measure life, experiencing the heavy side of life in dramatic life, highlighting the essence of life.
