Investigation on Zhou Fu's Family

周馥、周学熙都主张"中学为体、西学为用",主张"实业救国",在中国近代化方面,做出了重大贡献。同时,也有其局限性。周叔弢已进步到全心全意为人民服务。周家这150年的历史,是中国社会发展史的典型实例,很值得研究。

Both Zhou Fu and Zhou Xue-xi advocated the thought of “Chinese learning as the fundamental structure and Western learning for practical use”and advocated“industry saving the country” .They have made a significant contribution in the area of China＇s modernization .At the same time ,they have their limitation .Zhou Shu-tao has advanced to serve the people whole-heartedly .The 150 years history of Zhou＇s family is the typical example of the Chinese history of social development which is worth studying .
