Study on Outsourcing Risk Evaluation Based on FMEA

企业在做出业务外包决策之后,必须对外包风险进行评估和管控,以避免或降低外包风险带来的损失。本文尝试应用FMEA技术进行业务外包风险评估,在构建失效模块层次结构的基础上以合同履行失效模块为例,从质量、数量、时间三个维度探索识别失效模式,研讨确定失效的严重度、发生度和检测度的评分标准。最后通过算例验证了基于FMEA的企业业务外包风险评估的可行性和有效性。

After the decision risk assessment must be taken into of business outsourcing, consideration in order to avoid or reduce the loss of enterprises. As a usefulness and powerful risk assessment tool, failure mode and effects analysis （FMEA） was applied in this paper to analyze the risk problem of outsourcing. Several potential failure modes were identified and evaluated by three dimensions of risk factors, namely severity, occurrence and detection. Conventionally, risk priority number （RPN） is obtained by finding the multiplication of these three factors and determines the prioritization of failure modes for corrective actions. A case study is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of this method.
