Research on Mechanism Advantages of Non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning

民办高等教育是高等教育重要的组成部分,为高等教育大众化作出了积极的贡献,但当前社会对民办高等教育的认识仍有偏颇。针对当前对民办高校推动高等教育改革创新作用认识不充分的问题,认为民办高校相对于公办高校具有较多自主权、办学者和核心成员的成就感与认同感更高的优势,因而在推动高等教育改革创新上具有若干机制优势:精兵简政提高效率;贴近社会以生为本;精打细算运营资产;长远规划重视创新。

Non-governmental higher education is an important part of higher education, and has made a positive contribution to higher education popularization, though its current awareness is still biased. Aimed at the inadequate understanding on the role of non-governmental institutions of higher learning in promoting the reform and innovation of higher education, it considers more autonomy for non-governmental institutions of higher learning compared to public ones, and the advantage of having higher educational achievement and sense of identity for the core members. This leads to several mechanism advantages in promoting reform and innovation in higher education： streamlining for improved efficiency; close to the society; careful planning on operating assets; long term planning and emphasis on innovation.
