An Interpretation of Lu You's Infatuation

陆游是南宋著名的爱国诗人、唐琬的丈夫。作为爱国诗人,他力主抗金北伐、收复中原,写下了无数爱国诗篇。但作为丈夫,他对唐琬并非很痴情。在陆母的逼迫下,他没有积极寻找别的出路就休妻;一曲《钗头凤》更是间接要了唐琬鲜活的生命;和爱国诗对比,他所作的怀念唐琬的诗也黯然失色。

LuYou is a famous patriotic poet of the Southern Song dynasty,and Tang Wan＇s husband. As a poet,he advocated resisting Jin and the Northern Expedition,regaining the Central Plains,and wrote many patriotic poems. But as a husband,he was not a love-struck to Tang Wan. Under pressure from his mother,he was not actively seeking another way to stay married to his wife; a song ＂ Phoenix hairpin＂ almost indirectly ended Tang Wan＇s life. His poems in memory of Tang Wan are not as brilliant as his patriotic poems.
