Research on Family Traditions of Chen Han-Zhang's

一代经学大儒陈汉章成就斐然,其家族世代读书并有科名,诗书继世。文章概括了陈氏家族勤勉、笃学、重教育的学风,俭朴、乐善好施的家风,睦族、睦邻的族风,以弘扬地方文化传统。

Chen Han-Zhang was a famous scholar in Ningbo and many of his family members were scholars and famous too. The article studied his family traditions and found that his family members were keen to learn and paid much attention to education. They lived a simple life and were friendly to neighbors. This paper suggested that we should learn from his family traditions and carry forward the good tradition, thus to inherit the traditional local culture.
