This paper briefly discussed the application of participatory teaching method in＂basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine＂. It has proved that the method of teaching can optimize teaching design, improve the teachers＂ teaching level and teaching quality, stimulate students＂ interest in learning, and improve the overall competence of students.
