摘要 评价理论在语篇分析中有着较强的解释力,可辅助读者深度挖掘作者观点、态度和立场。《查理·卓别林》一文的教学实践尝试证明在英语阅读教学过程中,以评价理论为指导,对于提高学生语篇鉴赏力有一定的指导意义和实践意义。这对教师也提出了更高的要求:要转换阅读教学理念,加强学生对语篇深度理解能力的训练;要将评价性阅读模式与图式模式、合作学习模式相结合,提高阅读教学效能。 Appraisal Theory has strong explanatory power in discourse analysis, which may help readers explore the author' s opinion, attitude and standpoint. The attempt to apply Appraisal Theory into teaching Charlie Chaplin proves that the use of Appraisal Theory has practical and directive significance in improving the students' ability to appreciate the discourse. This accordingly requires that the teachers should gradually change the reading teaching idea, enhance the training of the students' understanding discourses, and try to combine appraisal reading model with schema theory and cooperative learning model, to finally improve the effect of reading teaching.
