唐代女性额上妆饰探析

An Analysis of Women's Forehead-ornaments in Tang Dynasty

南宋以前的古代妇女妆饰颇为艳丽,尤以唐时为盛。最具特色的便是点缀在额间的那些美轮美奂的妆扮——花钿、额黄等。可是古书上对于此二者究竟为何物的记载不尽详细,且称谓不一。笔者便对其进行探源和梳理,试图还原出那些繁复妆扮得以出现的原因、解读出古人对于额间妆饰的审美趣味。

Before the Southern Song Dynasty, and especially in Tang Dynasty, ancient women adorned themselves flamboy-antly, typified by forehead ornaments such as floral-twinkles and frontal yellow .Yet, the description of these two objects in historical records is not detailed enough and they are known by different names.After exploring the origin of these adorn-ments and classifying them into appropriate categories ,the author tries to determine the causes for their emergence and inter-pret the aesthetic taste of the ancient people for forehead adornments.
