试论川盐古道

Preliminary Study on the Ancient Road for Sichuan Salt

"川盐古道"是源于四川(包括重庆)东部及南部,对鄂、渝、湘、黔产生巨大影响力的贯穿整个中国腹地的运盐古道。本文论述古道因盐而兴,成为推动经济、传播文化的重要载体的过程,并展现它所具有的持续时间长、跨度范围广、文化影响力大的特点。

“Ancient road for Sichuan salt”is an old salt road started from the east and south of Sichuan （including Chongqing） through the hinterland of China. It exerted great impact on the border areas of Hubei, Chongqing, Hunan and Guizhou. This paper discusses the cause for the rise of the road, the process of being an important medium to promote economy and cultural dissemination, and the long-lasting, widely-spreading features and great cultural influence.
