基于构式单位的英汉翻译认知研究

Conceptual Integration:A Cognitive Study on English-Chinese Translation on Base of Construction

依据认知语言学,翻译是建立在多个认知主体多重互动基础之上的一种认识活动,译者通过识解、翻译、再创三阶段将源语言语篇所表达的各类意义用目标语言映射转述出来。Fauconnier概念整合机制以激活基于构式单位的认知框架,使心理空间内的成分发生映射、匹配等方式,详细阐释了意义构建的认知过程。将该机制运用于翻译过程研究可揭示作者、译者、读者间心智互动及认知参照关系,从而为翻译研究提供了新视角。

Translation can be viewed as a multiple cognitive interaction among various subjects in terms of cognitive linguistics.The translator maps the meanings conveyed by the source language in the target language through construal,translation,and recreation.The conceptual blending theory proposed by Fauconnier can soundly explain the cognitive process of meaning construction on base of language construction by frame activation,element mapping,and projection in different mental spaces.It can be applied to the study of translation process to reveal the cognitive interaction and referential relation a-mong the author,translator,and reader,providing a new approach to the research of translation.
