摘要
截至10月10日，西非5个国家因为埃博拉病毒肆虐已经有约4086人死亡，另有8399人感染病毒。目前该疫情仍不容乐观。“埃博拉”是扎伊尔（即刚果民主共和国）北部的一条河流的名字。1976年，一种不知名的病毒光顾这里，疯狂地虐杀“埃博拉”河沿岸55个村庄的百姓，致使数百生灵惨遭不幸，有的家庭甚至无一幸免，“埃博拉病毒”也因此而得名。
