The Analysis of The Platform Sutra of Dunhuang Manuscripts:An Effort to Establish Tenets and Answer Questions

20世纪初,敦煌写本《坛经》重现于世。此后近百年,对此本的研究一直没有中断,2009年还发现了新的旅博本。文章解析敦煌本《坛经》中一段,约占全文的四分之一。六祖惠能在此回答了各种问题,澄清了禅宗和其他宗派的关系,建立了他所开创的南宗的宗旨。录文来自周绍良《敦煌写本坛经原本》,并根据诸家校勘成果,有所斟酌去取。

The Platform Sutra of the Dunhuang Manuscripts,which re-emerged at the beginning of the 20 th century,has been studied thoroughly in the past century,and a new version of it was found in the Lvshun Museum in 2009.The paper interprets a section—about one fourth＇s length—of The Platform Sutra of the Dunhuang Manuscripts;in this section,Hui Neng,the Sixth Patriarch,answers various questions,clarifies the relations between Zen and other sects,and establishes the tenets of the southern school of Zen.The passage in the paper,cited from Zhou Shaoliang＇s The Master Copy of Paltform Sutra of the Dunhuang Manuscripts,is a selected version based on various existing scholarships on The Platform Sutra of the Dunhuang Manuscripts.
