摘要
从典到经,枢机是孔子。经之名,因传而发,有经有传,而后有经学。典是孔子之所学,经是孔子之所为学,允执厥中,一以贯之,是孔子之所以学。孔子之后有经,经与典之间便可因时转化。天下有道,则史学以立典礼、达王化为志,典外无史;天下无道,则史学以存王道、忧华夏为心,经外无史。
In the transformation from the Canons(dian)to the Classics(jing),Confucius played the key role.The term of the Classics derived from the interpretation of Classics.The Canons are Confucius' study subjects,the Classics are Confucius' study purposes,and keeping to the center is Confucius' study basis.It is possible that the Classics changed into the Canons at the right time after Confucianism.If the world is ordered,the aim of historical studies should be to legislate for the new age;instead,if the world is disordered,the aim should be to preserve the Chinese ideal.
