挖掘专利信息价值,促进中药创新与发展

TCM Patents, A Neglected Information Resource for TCM R&D

中药专利是一种新型科技文献,自1993年产生至今,得到了快速、迅猛的发展。专利文献兼具学术性、商业性、法律性的特点。中药专利中承载了大量最具时效性和实用性的中医药科研成果,科技含量上不逊于科技论文,时效性方面更具优势。截止2013年底,国内与中药相关的发明专利申请总数达到20.4万件。长期以来,专利作为知识产权保护的手段被研究的比较多,但其作为科研成果转化的载体、新药研发的信息资源等方面作用并没有得到充分重视。本文简要介绍了传统药物专利信息资源重点研究室以及所在的北京东方灵盾公司在中药专利资源加工、利用方面作的工作,以及"深度挖掘专利信息资源价值,促进中医药创新与发展"的设想。

As a kind of new literature resource, Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） patent emerged in 1993 followed by a rapid development. Patent is a literature with academic, commercial, legal characteristics, carrying lots of the most timely and useful fruits of TCM research. The technological level of patent is not inferior to scientific papers, even better in terms of timeliness. By the end of 2013, the total number of patent applications for inventions related to traditional medicine had reached 204 000. For a long time, the study on TCM patents always focus on the tool of protection of intellectual property. While its role, as an information resources and a bridge binding scientific research and new drug development, has not been given adequate attention. This article briefly describes the job of the Key Lab of traditional medicine patent information resources and Beijing East Linden company, in medicine patent processing and utilization, and the idea of ＂realizing the value of patent information resources, promoting innovation and development of Chinese medicine＂.
