摘要
提高大学生英语阅读能力是大学英语教学的首要任务之一，也是越来越多英语教师所探讨的重要课题。本文以教学实践为依据，提出提高大学生英语阅读能力应从以下几方面做起：（1）扩大英语词汇量；（2）掌握阅读技巧；（3）注重语篇理解；（4）加强课外阅读。
?To improve college students' reading ability is one of the most important tasks of college English teaching,and is also a major subject for more and more English teachers to discuss. This article, on the basis of the author's teaching practice,suggests that the improvement of college students' reading ability depends on the following ways: (1 ) to enlarge English vocabulary, (2) to master reading skills,(3 ) to lay stress on discourse comprehension, and (4 ) to enforce extracurricular reading.
