Network Structure and the Distribution of Power in Microblog Community

随着信息网络技术的发展,产生了一种新的权力形式——网络权力。与传统语境中的权力不同,网络权力是通过微博、论坛等新媒介对他人产生影响达到预期效果的能力。网络权力的载体是话语,其本质是理念和价值的影响力和传播力。本文以微博为例,分析网络权力问题。研究发现,网络权力产生于"身份——权威"的整合体,现实社会中的身份特征和个人通过观点表达建立的声誉成为网络权力产生的双重来源,这使微博权力结构呈现出阶层化特征;另一方面,微博热门话题的形成过程又是网络权力流动的过程,实现着权力重组与分配。

A new form of power-network power, emerged with the development of the information and communica- tion technologies. Different from the power in conventional context, the network power is the ability to impact people vi- a microblog, forum and other new media to reach its expected effect. The utterance whose essence is the power of influence and propagation based on idea and value is the carrier of network power. This article chose microblog as an example to analyze the network power. Through our analysis, the network power comes from the combination of identi- ty--authority＇, which is derived from real identity in society and reputation built by one＇s expression of opinion. The source of network power makes the power in microblog shows the characteristics of stratification. On the other hand, the forming process of microblog topics is a flowing process of network power, which brings about the recombination and distribution of power.
