Existing and Developing of Recent Chinese Freemason in the Safe Space in South-east Asia

因反清复明遭镇压的洪门组织成员流亡南洋各地,在东南亚找到了相对安全的生存和发展空间,在华侨华人社会和当地社会中有较大影响并对一些殖民地政府造成威胁。他们一方面是当地华侨华人的保护者,也存在着协助当地殖民政府管制华人的一面。他们同所在国人民共同反殖民统治并逐渐融入当地社会。他们是19世纪末20世纪初中国革命运动的积极支持者、参与者。研究近代洪门组织的生存与发展,还可以追溯当代华侨华人社团的发展历史及东南亚党派发展史。

Chinese Freemason found a safe space in South-east Asia and went to exile in there because of the crushing of Qing dynasty. It had not only great influence among the Chinese society but also great threat to the colonial government. On the one hand,it was the protector of the Chinese migrants;on the other hand,it helped the colonial government to control Chinese society. It integrated into the local community by against the colonists. It is the supporter and participant. To make a study of Chinese Freemason also can trace its history and the development history of parties of South-east Asia.
