To Ask Why the Canal Is So Clear,Just for the Source of Fresh Water——An Analysis on Liu Mingdai’s Chinese Painting

Liu Daiming＇ s painting is firstly good at absorbing the rich nutrients of the traditional Chinese painting; his ink reflects the solid basic skills of Chinese painting. Secondly his paintings ＂ follow the outer nature, get the inner feeling ＂ （a slogan of Zhang Zao, a Chinese painter of the Tang Dynasty）, and are originated from natural and not constrained in the nature of the true, the understanding of nature and the emotion is actually merged into the concrete image. Thirdly, it is an innovation, on the basis of inheriting traditional painting, to fruitfully probe on Chinese painting composition modeling and the ink used for painting.
