建立不同来源的英语新闻语篇对比语料库,对其中的模糊限制语进行统计分析,并试图探索英语新闻语篇中模糊限制语的使用规律,以期为模糊语言学、语料库语言学应用,以及新闻英语阅读教学提供一定参考。

This paper makes a statistical analysis on hedges based on a self-built corpus of English news texts from various sources. And the author attempts to explore possible laws of using hedges in English news texts so as to provide references to fuzzy linguistics, corpora linguistics and news English reading teachings.
