冗余信息对交际双方的言语理解,以及语篇组织都起着十分重要的作用。以2010年1月到2013年10月的外交部发言人的例行记者会讲话为语料,结合言语交际学以及社会心理学,探究冗余信息在外交语言中的心理调控作用,包括政治心理调控、社会心理调控和文化心理调控。

Redundancy plays a very important role in understanding and discourse organization for both communicators. This paper does a comprehensive data-based study of diplomatic language on the redundant information’s mentality adjusting function, ranging from Chinese foreign ministry spokesmen’s regular press conference speeches in January, 2010 to those in October, 2013. The study focuses on three parts： political mentality adjusting, social mentality adjusting and cultural mental adjusting.
