本文对大学体育教师是否是"文化人"及其文化自觉的特点和大学体育教师如何成为"文化人"进行阐述。研究认为,从体育文化的特点及大学体育教师在体育文化传承与发展中的地位来看,大学体育教师是"文化人",大学体育教师文化自觉具有大学体育特点为本质,以体育实践活动为基础,以体育文化的传承和创新为宗旨的特点,必须做到自主学习、对话交流、反思实践、研究创新才能真正成为"文化人"。
