Deng Xiaoping had firm confidence in socialist path, theory and system. He thought that socialism was superior to capitalism and the socialism with Chinese characteristics was a product of the Marx doctrine and the practice of contemporary Chinese, which sought truth from facts and summed up the experience and lessons of the past. It has been proved to be correct and won the people＇s advocate. He proposed to strengthen self-confidence in path, theory and system as well as the education of patriotism, ideal and faith, adhere to the four cardinal principles and the struggle against bourgeois liberalization. Through developing and giving full play to the superiority of socialism it should be held that the facts speak louder. Deng Xiaoping＇s illustration tells us to build a socialist core value system and actively cultivate the core values of socialism as well as a firm belief in socialism in order to further improve and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics.
