论提升当代大学生生态环保意识的现实意义

生态文明是人类社会继农业文明、工业文明之后的又一文明形态,它对生存于其中的个体提出了与以往文明社会形态迥异的要求。纵观历史,人类社会因生态环境的破坏,使文明断层乃至消亡的案例中外有之。因此,在我国面临经济发展与环境保护深刻矛盾的现阶段,提升包括当代大学生在内全体国民的生态环保意识具有重大的现实意义,可谓功在当代,利盖千秋。它既是响应高等教育改革的必然要求,也是高校建设生态校园的有力推手,还是建设"美丽中国"的必由之路,更是人类步入生态文明社会的时代要求。

Ecological civilization is another form of civilization following the agricultural civilization and industrial civilization in the human society, which requires the individual living into it differently from the previous civil forms. Throughout the history, human society never lacks the cases of ceases and even disappearance of civilizations due to the destruction of the ecological environment. Therefore in our country at the present stage there are profound conflicts of economic development and environmental protection. So the awareness of eco-environmental protection among all citizens including the contemporary college students is of great practical significance. It is conducted contemporarily and benefits the following generations. It is the inevitable requirement of response of the reform of higher education, also the pushing power of ecological campus construction and the evitable way of ＆quot;beautiful China＆quot; construction as well as the request to human society progress.
