隐喻是人类认知事物的一种基本方式。隐喻在人类语言与认知中起着极其重要的作用,其产生于人类的思维过程,反映了人类对世界的认知方式,隐喻的实质就是通过联想从一个认知域映射到另一个认知域的过程。概念语法隐喻作为隐喻的一个部分,对人们认识世界、了解世界也起到了重要的作用。

Metaphor is the basic way that human recognizes the world. It plays an extremely important role in human language and cognition and was produced in human thinking process. It can reflect the cognitive way between the human being and the world. The essence of metaphor is a process from a cognitive domain to another one by association. Ideational grammatical metaphor,a part of the metaphor,also plays an important role for human to know the world.
