It has a profound impact on the students the ways of thinking and values in the new media age.But our ideological and political education makes a range of problems when the j unior students con-fronting mass media information.This paper attempts to analyze the dual effect of the new media age on i-deological and political education of high schools by doing the research of the characteristics of the new media age.The paper also explores to find an innovative and interesting path for new ideological and politi-cal education of high school choice.
