Status of the market of hydropower development in Pakistan is introduced, including the ratio of different electric power systems, installation capacity, shortage of the power supply, and the distribution of hydropower resourceS. Recommendations are given to Chinese hydropower equipment manufacture companies and building and construction companies on market development of hydropower projects in Pakistan.
