Years of continuous operation of the H-Beam universal rolling mill of MaS-teel had resulted in wear of the cross beam and damage and deformation of the screw man-drel, so defect detection and components replacement were carried out to the equipment utiliz-ing the scheduled mid-year overhaul. As the equipment was imported and never had complete maintenance and repair, the overhaul work had some difficulties. The process and method of replacement and drawing of the cross beam and screw mandrel are introduced in detail.
