Property Rights,Firms' Quantity and Dynamic Equilibrium in Renewable Resource Market

产权制度与厂商数量(市场结构)对可再生资源市场动态均衡有着决定性影响。在不同的产权制度前提下,市场结构对市场均衡的影响不尽相同:私人产权制度下,厂商数量对资源的可持续利用既有可能带来正效应,又有可能带来负效应;而在公共产权下,厂商数量一定会给资源持续利用带来负效应,当达到一定厂商数量后,生态灾难将不可避免。因此只有合理的、符合实际需要的产权制度以及与之相匹配的市场结构共同作用,才能保证可再生资源市场的持续健康发展。

This paper studies on an oligopolistic product market with a renewable resource input under two different property rights. By establishing a linear power model with the stock and consumption of renewable resource,we analyze the dynamic Nash equilibrium under different property rights. We argue that the equilibrium of renewable resource market mostly is determined by property rights and firms' quantity( market structure). Under different property rights,the influence of firms' quantity to the system equilibrium is different. An increase in the quantity of firms may bring about either a positive or negative effect under the private property right,but only a negative effect to resource sustainable utilization under the common property right. As a result,only combined action of a property right which is reasonable and closely actual needs and the market structure which is corresponding to the property right can ensure the health and sustained development of the renewable resource market.
