Philadelphia Convention and the following debates accompanied with the U. S. Constitution. The Federalist Papers was the product of that big debate. Though the constitution might still be too conservative, but the conservatism itself was an exemplification of the compromise based on both sides’ sticking to their principles. From this book, we could feel that the U. S. Constitution was born from the debate, in fact, that debate took place on the basis of consensus, which created the distinctive characters of the U. S. Constitu-tion.
