中医英译方法的回顾和总结

The Methods in the Translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine:A Retrospect and Summary

目前中医术语翻译的常用方法主要有借译法、释意法、简化法、音译法、造词法、语境法、综合法等。基于有关中医翻译方法的现有研究成果,本文从术语层面全面回顾了中医英译的基本方法,并总结了各种方法的特点及应用范围,以促进中医翻译事业的发展。

It comes to a conclusion that the basic methods commonly used in the translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine （ TCM ） terminology mainly compromise borrowing, paraphrasing, simplification, transliteration, sentence formation, eontextualization and integration. Based on the current studies concerning the techniques in the translation of TCM, this paper makes a relatively comprehensive summary of the basic methods and characteristics in the translation of TCM from the perspective of terminology in order to promote the better development of the translation of TCM.
