翻译中的文化因素探析

语言和文化是一个互为依存、密不可分的整体。翻译不仅是语际的翻译,其实更是文化的翻译。本文通过讲述语言和文化、文化和翻译之间的关系来具体分析中国人和英美人在思维方式之间存在的差异,从而进一步阐明了文化因素在翻译过程中的重要性。

Language and culture are interdependent and inseparable. Translation is not only interlingual, but also cultural. This paper describes the relationship between language and culture, culture and translation, as well as differences on ways of thinking between Chinese and westerners, thus further clarifies the importance of cultural factors in translation process.
